Bush to Nominate Assistant Transportation Secretary

The President intends to nominate Emil H Frankel to be an Assistant Secretary of Transportation for Transportation Policy, according to information from the White House. Frankel formerly served as Commissioner of the Connecticut Department of Transportation. After leaving public service in 1995, he joined Day, Berry and Howard LLP, where he has consulted primarily on transportation and public policy issues.
