Broward County (FL) Hazmat, Hazwaste Rules Preempted

The Department of Transportation's Research and Special Programs Administration (RSPA) has preempted several hazardous materials and hazardous waste regulations enacted in Broward County, Florida. RSPA also preempted the county's annual "waste transporter" license, which cost $175 per vehicle.
