Bridge Terminal Transport Inc becomes ATA member

Dec 1, 2006 12:00 PM

Bridge Terminal Transport Inc has joined the American Trucking Associations.

“Accelerating sea to shore intermodal transportation movements and compelling challenges for all transport modes require the motor carrier industry to work together,” said BTT president Philip Connors. “Congestion at ports, railyards, and on highways coupled with the industry's drive to recruit and retain drivers are a few examples of why the trucking industry needs to speak with a clear, unified and effective voice. It's time for the industry, including BTT, to participate in the process through our largest industry organization, ATA.”

BTT marine drayage operations are conducted through 45 terminals, 30 container yards, and a fleet of 2,900 contracted owner-operators. The company services all major port locations and inland rail sites. Operations stretch from Vancouver, British Columbia to Jacksonville FL, Boston MA, San Bernardino CA, Detroit MI, and Laredo TX.
