Bosselman Energy selects DTN Exchange

Sep 1, 2006 12:00 PM

Bosselman Energy, the wholesale supply division of Bosselman Family of Companies, has implemented DTN Exchange, a fuel trading exchange with dynamic prices that fluctuate with the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX).

When it buys fuel on the DTN Exchange, Bosselman Energy can take advantage of real-time prices as the market goes up and down during the day. Extended lifting terms at the rack gives a measure of predictability that helps the division better schedule dispatch.

Analysis tools in the DTN Exchange help Bosselman Energy evaluate purchase options and make better and faster fuel buying decisions. With the ability to make market orders during the day and place after-hours bids to suppliers, Bosselman Energy has the opportunity to buy at spot-market related prices 24 hours a day.
