J J Keller & Associates Inc has announced that Hazard Perception Challenge, its interactive video training program, has received an official endorsement from American Trucking Associations Inc (ATA).

This program uses an interactive video to capture drivers' attention and enlist active participation in the training. The video format teaches hazard perception through a series of 30 brief scenarios — each followed by a “what-did-you-see/what-would-you-do” challenge question. Drivers are asked to think fast about the scenario presented and record their answers on sheets provided. Scenarios cover challenges in settings including highway, extreme weather, city, and night driving.
