ASTL certification covered by GI benefits

Jul 1, 2004 12:00 PM

The American Society of Transportation and Logistics (ASTL) has been approved to provide certification tests to individuals with GI benefits. Those qualifying will be provided payment for each exam in the AST&L professional certification program, Certified in Transportation and Logistics (CTL).

Begun in 1948, this program regularly revises and updates certification exams, keeping current with changes. The certification examination system consists of five written exams — General Management Principles and Techniques, Transportation Economics and Management, Logistics Systems Management, Public Policy and Legal Issues, International Transportation and Logistics — and a creative component.

The CTL professional certification program is available online and is expanding internationally.
