Thomas P Lynch has been named vice-president, general council for National Tank Truck Carriers Inc (NTTC). He will succeed John Conley as vice-president when Conley becomes NTTC president after Cliff Harvison retires at the end of 2005. Lynch formerly worked on the NTTC staff for five years in the 1990s and returns after serving as legislative director to Rep Nick J Rahall (D-WV), a senior member of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee.

At the Industry Awards Luncheon of the American Trucking Associations' Technology and Maintenance Council (TMC), Mike McGowan, director of sales for Truck-Lite Co Inc, received TMC's Recognized Associate award for outstanding contributions to the support of TMC meetings and its mission. He has been an active member of TMC since 1991 and serves or has served as a task force secretary, sergeant of arms, and as a “TMC Buddy.”.
