The National Industrial Transportation League board of directors has approved John B Ficker as the association's next president effective Sept 1, 2003. He succeeds Peter J Gatti, who has served as interim president since March 2003. Ficker most recently was logistics development manager for the Weyerhaeuser Co in Federal Way WA.
