ArvinMeritor Receives First Commercial Full Exhaust System Contract

ArvinMeritor has been awarded its first commercial vehicle contract for development and supply of a full exhaust system for a major European commercial truck manufacturer. The agreement leverages the company’s light-vehicle emissions technology solutions into the commercial market. This agreement forecasts 35,000 full exhaust systems for a European light-transport truck (3.5 tons) to begin production in 2002.
