SAGEPLAN Inc, an Austin, Texas-based value-added reseller and distributor of wireless technology products, introduced SageFleet, a vehicle tracking and fleet management system, at the Great American Trucking Show in Dallas, Texas.
SageFleet combines the SageTracker vehicle tracking device and state-of-the-art software to provide real time GPS location data for any sized fleet. The technology arms fleet managers with the ability to eliminate needless business costs such as false overtime reporting, speeding violations, and excess fuel costs from the use of company vehicles for personal trips or even side jobs.
The SageFleet system is capable of managing a single vehicle or fleets from two to 2,000 trucks. Sageplan professionals will custom design a customer's system using hardware, software, and wireless communication services that are the best in the business. Setup and training are included in every package to make sure that the customer gets the maximum return from their investment.
With the ability to record each vehicle's mileage history, daily start and stop times, and routes traveled fleet managers have complete control over their assets at all times. Companies that have incorporated fleet tracking into their cost containment strategy have recovered the purchase price of the system in as little as 90 days from implementation. Measurable gains are also reported in vehicle productivity and customer satisfaction.
