Several tank truck carriers have received honors from the American Trucking Associations (ATA) Safety and Loss Prevention Management Council for their safety accomplishments and safety records relative to others within their operation type and size.

CLI Transport LP was selected for the top prize, the President's Trophy, as the Small Fleet winner (under 25 million miles annually).

Other winners included:

• Basic Chemicals Company LLC, 1st; Groendyke Transport Inc, 2nd; and R O Harrell Inc, 3rd, National Truck Safety Contest, Tank Truck, Line Haul, Unlimited Mileage category.
• Flying J Transportation 2nd Place Tank Truck, Local, Unlimited Mileage category.
• R O Harrell Inc, 1st; Usher Transport Inc, Industrial Safety Contest, Tank Truck, unlimited employees.

Dupre Transport Inc awards included:

• Strategic Capacity Services - 1st Place Miscellaneous Fleets/Unlimited Employees (Industrial Safety Contest).
• Strategic Capacity Services - 1st Place Miscellaneous Line Haul/Unlimited Mileage.
• Site & Private Fleet Services - 1st Place Miscellaneous Local over 10 Million Miles.
• Energy Distribution Services - 3rd Place Tank Truck Unlimited Mileage.
• Energy Distribution Services - 3rd Place Tank Truck/Unlimited Employees (Industrial Safety Contest).
• Site & Private Fleet Services - 3rd Place Miscellaneous Fleets/Unlimited Employees (Industrial Safety contest).
