Elemica, Exton PA, has announced that Shell Chemicals is to implement the new slot booking application within Elemica’s newly enhanced Logistics Solution.

Slot Booking allows shippers and carriers to schedule appointments and book time slots at loading and unloading facilities, which streamlines their loading workflows and reduces delays and wait times for carriers resulting in lower assessorial charges and fewer scheduling resources.

The Web-based application can function stand-alone or integrate with Elemica’s Logistics Solution, which includes terminal and Warehouse, road and ocean.
