Evaluation essential for successful security program

As more emphasis is placed on security measures for the tank truck industry, carriers should take a look at their programs that are already in place. "I see no reason to take down the system that you have in place today," said Mark Abkowitz of Visual Risk Technologies, speaking at the National Tank Truck Carriers Safety Council meeting April 14-15 in Nashville TN.

He pointed out, however, that once security programs are in place, they have to be continually evaluated and adjusted as necessary.
