Schneider National Inc, Green Bay WI, will introduce the largest pay increase for drivers and owner-operators in its 70-year history, according to company information.

The new package will take effect February 6, 2005.

Company drivers will receive an average increase of $4,000 per year, new short-haul premiums, and increased non-driving provisions, such as detention pay.

The new contract for owner-operators increases linehaul rates to 90 cents per mile, plus fuel surcharge, and provides savings opportunities on business expenses.
