OPW division upgrades Endura Series

Dec 1, 2007 12:00 PM

OPW Engineered Systems, a division of OPW Fluid Transfer Group, has upgraded its Endura Series Loading Arms.

The Endura's Dual Split Flange (DSF) swivel joints combine the features of high load-bearing capability, redundant sealing, leak detection, and easy maintenance. The DSF also features replaceable dual and single race bearing modules and the option to provide an inert gas purge for critical applications. The Endura is also engineered to handle the weight inherent in the loading process thanks to its user-friendly counterbalance technology. The 790 Series EZ-Adjust torsion spring counterbalance assembly guarantees precise spring-balance adjustment and a wide range of motion. Other options include full or partial steam-jacketed construction for transfer of high-melting-point products such as molten sulfur, asphalt, resins, and paraffins. An automatic shutdown option helps prevent spillage and overfills, while loading valves can shut off flow without causing damaging shock in the pipeline. A series of termination connections — including the Kamlok, Autolok, Kamvalok, and DryLok — have been formulated to fit seamlessly into loading and unloading operations.
