opens Antwerp office

Odyssey Logistics and Technology Corp, Danbury CT, has opened an office in Antwerp, Belgium, to manage and provide services in logistics operating modes, including truck, rail, and ocean transportation, and warehouses and terminals.

Odyssey's clients in Europe will take advantage of the Odyssey Global Logistics Platform, a software platform developed in-house by Odyssey technology personnel using software technologies. The system includes a full-function transportation management system tailored for the needs of the chemical and process industries. It offers Web-based functionality, allowing customers, carriers and other supply chain participants to interact with Odyssey, and provides clients with a single interface across the supply chain, covering North America and Europe.

The European office personnel include Chris Andries, managing director; Jan Peeters, director logistics procurement; Desiree Dirven, manager, third part logistics operations; Pieter Cooremans, logistics coordinator; Olivier Lenssens, customs and logistics coordinator; Jos Kauwenberghs, finance manager; and Geertrui Cerpentier, manager logistics and packagings compliance.
