UK team wins hazmat training award

The AP 483 team of the United Kingdom Civil Aviation Administration's (CAA) Dangerous Goods Office has won the Training Keystone Award sponsored by Labelmaster.
The award, created to enhance safety by recognizing significant contributions to the development of effective hazardous materials training, was presented October 21-24 at the Dangerous Goods Instructors Symposium in Deerfield Beach FL. The winning team, under the leadership of Geoff Leach, developed CAP 483, a comprehensive dangerous goods training standard.
