A diesel transport that was hijacked in Houston TX was recovered May 7 with about half of its diesel load missing, according to information from the Houston Police Department.

A man is in custody, charged in the incident with aggravated robbery. The truck was taken after the armed suspect jumped into the cab as the driver pulled away from loading at a Houston terminal. The driver was forced to drive to a nearby freeway before the hijacker released him.

The police spokesman said the investigation into the incident is still ongoing.
