Diesel prices to remain high through 2006

Aug 19, 2005 2:13 PM

Due to high crude oil prices, along with continued growth in the US economy and fuel demand, diesel fuel is expected to remain well above $2 per gallon through 2006, according to information from the Energy Information Administration (EIA), a Department of Energy agency.

EIA provides policy-independent data, forecasts, and analyses to promote policy making, efficient markets, and public understanding regarding energy and its interaction with the economy and the environment.
