FMCSA medical plan

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has information available about its truck driver medical programs posted on its Web site at fmcsa.dot.gov.
Alerts relative to medical issues are part of the information posted on the site, such as medicines that are prohibited for drivers. The medical examiner's handbook also is posted and contains physical qualification standards and clinical guidelines.
