FMCSA seeking comments on cross-border data

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) is seeking comments on the Pre-Authority Safety Audits for Mexican motor carriers that have applied to operate in the United States beyond the US/Mexico commercial zones, according to information published in the Federal Register August 12.

FMCSA lists the information in the notice for which it is seeking comments, including controlled substance and alcohol testing program, hours-of-service rules, financial responsibility, vehicle inspections, and a variety of other data regarding the cross-border program.
