Mark Bliss has been promoted to senior vice president of quality and risk management at Andrews Transport. He has been in transportation for more than 25 years, the past 19 with Andrews, where he served most recently as vice president of quality and risk management.

Ruan Transport Corporation recently honored driver John Gorman, who received the firm's Million Mile Safety Award recognizing his one million miles of accident-free driving for Ruan. Gorman, who has dedicated 10 years of outstanding service driving for the company, is a former Ruan Red R award recipient. He has also received numerous annual safety awards with Ruan and two safe driving awards with Knight Transportation.
