Rick Stierer has been named safety director at Bulk Transportation, Walnut CA. He succeeds Jerry Bingham, who retired. From June 2005 until April 2007, Stierer was the training supervisor for Northrop Grumman at Al Udeid, Air Base, Qatar.

Andrew Woods, director of governmental affairs at Bulk Transportation, has been appointed to the executive board of InfraGard, Sacramento CA Chapter. InfraGard is a cooperative undertaking among the United States government and an association of businesses, academic institutions, state and local law enforcement agencies, and other participants dedicated to increasing the security of U.S. critical infrastructures. Woods also has completed training at the FBI's Citizens Academy and has joined the board of directors for the Chemical Industry Council of California.
