Dupr garners top LMTA safety award

The Louisiana Motor Transport Association recently recognized Dupré Logistics for outstanding achievement in highway safety within Louisiana for 2007. The award, which was sponsored by Great West Casualty Company, recognized Dupré's safety record as an asset-based logistics group in the one-million to three-million-mile trucking class.
Before issuing the annual award, the LMTA considers companies' motor vehicle accidents, plus Department of Transportation reportable accidents, and compares those numbers with millions of miles traveled. Dupré's safety record once again shined, and the logistics and dedicated fleet provider took home top honors from the LMTA banquet June 7 at the Baton Rouge Marriott.
The Louisiana Motor Transport Association represents approximately 400 truck, bus, and related industry companies throughout Louisiana.
