Price of diesel rises 3 cents

The average price of on-road diesel rose just over three cents per gallon last week, ringing up at the pump at $2.924, according to the Department of Energy (DOE).

Low sulfur and ultra low sulfur diesel followed suit with low sulfur being 3.2 cents higher than the week before and ultra low sulfur diesel costing 3.1 cents per gallon more. DOE reported low sulfur diesel at $2.891 per gallon last week and ultra low sulfur diesel at $2.932 per gallon.
