Diesel price inches up 4 cents

The average price of on-road diesel rose four cents per gallon across the nation last week, ringing up at the pump at $2.964, according to information from the Department of Energy.

Low sulfur diesel and ultra low sulfur diesel posted similar gains. The average price of the low sulfur product was 4.3 cents higher than the week before at $2.934 per gallon. Ultra low sulfur diesel advanced 3.9 cents to $2.971 per gallon.
