CTL announces increase in its driver pay package

Feb 1, 2009 12:00 PM

CTL Transportation LLC (CTL), a national tank truck company serving the 48 contiguous United States, Mexico, and Canada with 11 terminal locations, announces an increase to its company driver pay package. These changes, which took effect January 1, 2009, include significant increases in the longevity pay for CTL's existing drivers as well as for newly hired experienced drivers.

As a result of its continued effort to review driver pay, CTL's new pay enhancement reflects CTL's desire to reward its most critical asset, professional tank truck drivers. CTL works hard to ensure its driver pay package is competitive with the industry and aligned with customer and market financial conditions.

CTL's longevity pay schedule is designed to compensate drivers based on their tractor-trailer driving experience. With these changes, CTL has also added pay to its accessorial pay items as well as increased some pay schedule stages. The average annual pay increase for CTL's professional tank truck company drivers is between $1,500 and $2,500.
