Tank truck carriers take
home LA safety honors

Four tank truck carriers are among the honorees in the Louisiana Motor Transport Association 2008 Great West Casualty Fleet Safety Awards.
Taking home the honors were Aeropres Corp, Sibley LA; Quality Transport Inc, Baton Rouge LA; Linden Bulk Transportation, Linden NJ; and Dupre Logistics LLC, Site Logistics, Lafayette LA.
The Great West awards recognize companies in Louisiana with outstanding safety records in various mileage categories. Awards also were presented to the company with the greatest improved safety record for 2008, compared to 2009.
Quality Transport received the most-improved award and was a winner in the 6-9 million miles category.
Linden Bulk received an award in the 1-3 million miles category while Dupre was a winner in the 6-9 million miles category, and Aeropres was noted in the less than 1 million miles category.
