Groendyke Transport donates to storm victims

Nov 4, 2005 11:47 AM

Groendyke Transport, Enid OK, and its employees donated $40,000 to the victims of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.

Employees from across the United states called the corporate office to ask if they could contribute to the relief effort through payroll deduction, so the company established a program and then matched the contributions.

The donation was divided between the Salvation Army and the American Red Cross.
