Bruce F Larson, president of the Oscar W Larson Co of Clarkston MI, has been elected to serve as the 58th president of the Petroleum Equipment Institute. Larson, who has been a PEI board member for two terms, vice-president in 2007, and treasurer before that, was elected during the institute's annual convention recently. Blair D Shwedo, president of SouthEastern Petroleum Systems Inc of Charlotte NC, has been appointed by the PEI board of directors as the 2008 vice-president of the group, while Peter Ward, president of Glasgow Equipment Service Inc of West Palm Beach FL, has been named PEI's new treasurer.
