FT Silfies to open new Maryland terminal

F T Silfies Inc, Nazareth PA, is opening a new terminal in Hagerstown MD to service a recent multi-year agreement to haul cement out of an Essroc plant in Martinsburg WV.
“We’re very excited about the opportunity to expand organically with a current customer and open an additional terminal in western Maryland," said Jim Niness, Silfies chief operating officer.
The carrier will operate 18-20 tractors and have a full service shop on site. The terminal is scheduled to be in operation April 1, 2006.
