Schneider to pay empty, loaded fuel charges

Nov 3, 2005 2:27 PM

Schneider National Inc, Green Bay WI, has announced it will pay fuel surcharges on both empty and loaded miles to increase revenues for owner-operators and fleet owners.

The company will eliminate the lag in paying out the fuel surcharge and compensate owner-operators and fleet owners for both the loads and fuel surcharge on the same weekly settlement.

Schneider National contracts with nearly 3,000 owner-operators and fleet owners across North America.
