QDI to acquire Boasso America

Quality Distribution Inc (QDI), Tampa Fl, is acquiring Boasso America Corp, Chalmette LA, for approximately $60 million, subject to purchase price adjustments, according to information from QDI.
Boasso America, a provider of ISO tank container and depot services with annual revenues of more than $70 million, also has facilities in Houston TX, Charleston SC, Chicago IL, Detroit MI, and Jacksonville Fl.
Boasso America Corp will continue to operate as a stand alone division under the direction of Scott Giroir, president, according to QDI information. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2007.
