Atlas Oil Co has added two new executives

Atlas Oil Co has added two new executives to its leadership team, Edward Shelton and Satish Kalala. Shelton joined Atlas in November 2012 as vice-president of marketing. He comes from Alcoa in New York City, where he spent eight years, most recently as part of the firm's growth and market strategy team. Kalala joined Atlas in November 2012 as director of strategic business development. With more than 16 years of experience in advising, managing, and delivering rapid revenue growth and strategic initiatives for large global corporations, he most recently worked with Deloitte.

Quality Distribution Inc announced that its board of directors has appointed Annette M Sandberg as a director. She became administrator of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) in 2003 and led the agency until April 1, 2006. Sandberg is currently a counsel at Scopelitis, Garvin, Light, Hanson & Feary PC, a transportation law firm. She also is principal of TransSafe Consulting LLC.
