OL&T's involvement
with Grace expands
through Dubai project

Odyssey Logistics & Technology Corporation (OL&T) has announced the expansion of its work for W R Grace & Co to include the management of the specialty chemical and materials company’s Dubai transportation program. This project will improve the efficiency of services for Grace and its customers.
OL&T and Grace have worked together since 2004 on global transportation and logistics. In the current project, OL&T leveraged its technical expertise and market knowledge of southwest Asia to optimize the transportation process and successfully reduce the fixed costs associated with Grace’s transportation operations. The new transportation project has been implemented to support logistics activities at Grace’s facility in the Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority, a major business hub of the Middle East in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Grace has manufactured, marketed, and sold products to the Middle East region since 1982.
Gianni Marnini, Grace’s regional general manager who worked closely on this project from its inception, said, “This project has been good for Grace. Outsourcing our internal fleet and changing our former provider are well on track. We did the right thing by moving away from fixed-cost pricing to a full-variable-cost model.”
