E H Lynn Industries Inc announced that Bill Davis died July 7, 2011, from complications due to cancer. He was 58. Davis was a sales representative with E H Lynn for the past 10 years in Romeoville IL and a mechanic at Stahly Cartage in South Roaxana IL for 30 years. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Denah and Chris Thompson; son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Sara Davis; three grandchildren, Natalie Davis, Jessica Thompson, and Steven Thompson; girlfriend Jeanne Redmond and her two daughters, Laura and Caitlin Redmond; and granddaughter Zoe Redmond-Stanley. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or through E H Lynn to be received by the family.

JARCO announced that Casey Jarvis, the company's founder, died July 10. He was 86. He is acknowledged as a pioneer in design, manufacturing, and service of truck-mounted tanks for the propane delivery industry. Jarvis began his career in 1947 as a salesman with Superior Tank Co in Southern California. In 1959, he founded JARCO to provide custom delivery trucks to propane retailers and independent marketers. Today, the company, a division of Polar Service Centers (PSC), has produced more than 5,000 trucks for customers in more than 20 nations. Jarvis had leadership roles in the National Propane Gas Association and Western Propane Gas Association. He received the Distinguished Service Award from the WPGA in 2007. Jarvis was preceded in death three months earlier by his wife, Helen. He is survived by four children, nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held in his hometown, Corona del Mar CA. As a US Army veteran of World War II, he received military honors at the ceremony.
