NSC chapter recognizes Dupr's safety

Jun 1, 2009 12:00 PM

The South Louisiana Chapter of the National Safety Council (NSC) recognized Dupré Logistics, Lafayette LA, at its 58th annual meeting and The Clem Buckman Occupational and Fleet Safety Awards Banquet. Dupré was given an Occupational Safety Award of Merit for one million-two million hours worked, joining large-scale companies Cox Communications and Bollinger Lockport.

The South Louisiana Chapter of the NSC's mission is to promote accident prevention in all fields of safety through education and proper means, as well as through assistance to all involved in accident prevention. NSC bylaws state that the organization saves lives by preventing injuries and deaths at work, in homes, in communities, and on the roads through leadership, research, education, and advocacy.”
