NACD presents
award to Brenntag

Brenntag North America Inc, headquartered in Reading PA, is the recipient of the National Association of Chemical Distributors (NACD) 2010 Responsible Distribution Excellence Award.
An NACD member for 25 years, Brenntag was recognized during the association’s annual Operations Seminar and Trade Show (OPSEM) in Austin TX for demonstrating outstanding performance in its Responsible Distribution program. Brenntag’s David Garner, vice-president of operations; and Shawn Wiram, director of safety, health, and environment, were present to receive the award.
Bruce Schechinger, NACD’s chairman of the board and president of BHS Marketing LLC, said, “NACD is proud to recognize Brenntag North America Inc as the fifth recipient of this award. Their commitment to process improvement, their involvement in the local community, and the education of their employees have established them as high achievers. Brenntag North America is an outstanding example of Responsible Distribution in action.”
