Great West salutes Kimrad Transport LP

Kimrad Transport LP was presented a Platinum award by Great West Casualty Company as part of the 2010 National Safety Awards Program.
Joe Greene, safety director, was presented the award by Lynn Newsome, Great West’s senior safety service representative, June 6, 2011. Kimrad Transport specializes in transporting regional hazardous cargo, various petroleum chemicals, and asphalt. To date, Kimrad Transport employs 116 drivers and is rapidly growing. It was established in 2003 by Brad and Kimila Pohlmeier in Amarillo TX.
The National Safety Awards program recognizes carriers in similar operations (truckload and less than truckload) with awards based on their year-end preventable-accident results. Carriers are eligible to receive a Platinum, Gold, Silver, or Participatory award. This past year, the National Safety Awards program drew more than 600 participants from across the nation.
