For the second straight year, Penske Logistics is a recipient of Eastman Chemical Company’s Supplier Excellence Award. 

Penske Logistics provides Eastman Chemical with supply chain optimization systems including dedicated contract carriage and inbound freight management.

“We appreciate the formal recognition of our value to Eastman Chemical in receiving the Supplier Excellence Award,” said Vince Hartnett, president of Penske Logistics.  “It validates the hard work of our associates working side-by-side with the Eastman team to consistently deliver high-value service to Eastman’s transportation network.  Penske continues to post extremely high drayage move performance, low driver turnover and a strong safety record.”

The Eastman Supplier Excellence Program shines a light on continuous improvement processes that result in high quality and efficient services being supplied to Eastman. There are three levels of awards: Excellence, Improvement, and Innovation. The Excellence Award process requires that the supplier be a strategic service provider to Eastman, meet or exceed the minimum overall performance expectations, and undergo an Eastman management review.
