Doug Place, chief financial officer for Dupré Logistics LLC, was elected president of the Louisiana Motor Transport Association for 2010-2011. Elected officers were announced during the 70th annual LMTA Convention at the Sandestin Gold & Beach Resort in Destin FL recently. An LMTA member since 2004, he served as first vice-president for 2009-2010 and second vice-president for 2008-2009. He also served four years on the LMTA board of directors.
