A&R Logistics acquires Pac Chem

A&R Logistics, Inc. has announced the acquisition of Pacific Chemical Distribution Corporation and its affiliate Pacific Bulk Transportation Company Inc. (Pac Chem), based in Buena Park CA. Pac Chem is one of the premier plastics packaging and transportation providers on the West Coast.
”What attracted us most to Pac Chem was the people and the high quality of services they provide to customers,” said Jim Bedeker, CEO of A&R Logistics. “Jim Tausz and Tim Inzana have built a great company, and we are looking forward to their continued contributions within the A&R family of companies.”
A&R Logistics is one of the nation's largest providers of bulk transport and logistics services to the plastic resin industry. The company operates from 24 facilities throughout the United States and manages a fleet of approximately 700 tractors and 1,100 bulk and dry van trailers. A&R Logistics is headquartered in Morris IL.
