Aker Philadelphia PA Shipyard has delivered its sixth MT-46 veteran product tanker to American Shipping Co, Oslo, Norway, according to Aker information.

The 330,000-barrell vessel designed to ship refined products is under the operation of OSG America LP, New York NY, and will be used to transport petroleum products for Tesoro Corp, San Antonio TX. The tanker is the first of four vessels planned to be utilized by Tesoro.

An additional three ships in the series of 12 tankers for American Shipping Co are under construction at the yard, the company said.
