Venture to Offer Railcar Storage for Plastics

Plastics Logistics Group has teamed with a network of short-line and industrial railroads across North America to offer railcar storage for the plastics industry. Services being offered include both long-term storage of empty hopper cars and “storage-in-transit” placement of loaded cars. Some locations also feature rail transfer capabilities.
By using short-line and industrial railroads, Plastics Logistics will help railcar fleet owners avoid the higher storage and switching fees associated with Class I carriers.
