Rail Services Inc has been acquired by three long-time company employees and now operates as RSI Logistics Inc, said Robert Tuchek, president of the new company. Tuchek; Joe Irish, chief financial officer; and Kelley Minnehan, executive vice-president, acquired the company April 1, 2001. The third-party rail transportation service business is located in Okemos MI, near Lansing. Divisions now operate as RSI Terminals Inc and RSI Intermodal Inc.

Besides providing third-party rail logistics and bulk tank container services, the company operates transfer facilities in Grand Rapids MI, Buffalo NY, Philadelphia PA, Baltimore MD, Oak Island (Newark) NJ, Petersburg VA, Milwaukee WI, and Phoenix AZ.
