Polar Service Centers has opened a second, larger location in metropolitan Portland OR, specializing in parts, service, and major repairs for all makes of bulk tank trailers and tank bodies.

The new Polar Service Center facility is located at 6309 NE Columbia Boulevard in Portland, just south of Portland International Airport. Open from 6 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday, it has six service bays and is National Board R-stamp certified for code tank repairs.

“This is perhaps the best-equipped shop in the region to perform significant repair work on commercial tanks,” says Mike Evans, president of Polar Service Centers. “It also has the inventory to be the leading source of aftermarket parts for dry and liquid bulk tank trucks and trailers in the Portland area.”

Other services at Portland include HM-183 and DOT inspections; tractor rig-outs and tank-trailer customization; and sales of new and used tank trucks and trailers.

Evans added that the Portland location is an excellent complement to the Polar Service Center Express Shop in Vancouver WA. Less than 10 miles away, the Vancouver facility provides customers with a convenient location for periodic tank inspections, maintenance, and all-makes parts. The Portland and Vancouver Polar Service Centers are managed by John Yazzolino.
