K-Limited Carrier Ltd develops driver-centered website

Because a company’s employees are key to its culture, K-Limited Carrier LTD, a nationally recognized liquid bulk carrier, relies on its drivers to tell the company story online. Its new website, which debuted at www.k-ltd.com, puts K-Limited drivers front and center to describe the company’s philosophy of pride, performance, and professionalism.

Drivers are featured throughout the site, and a “Meet Our Drivers” section on the homepage introduces visitors to individual drivers. For prospective employees intrigued by the
K-Limited experience, employment information is easy to access, complete, and submit.

“Our drivers really represent the spirit of this business, so highlighting them on the website was an easy decision,” says Dean Kaplan, chief executive officer of K-Limited.

The new website was designed to be easy to navigate and visually appealing, with lots of photos and video. “We also wanted to make information about our safety record and our modern fleet very easy to find, so visitors will understand the level of our dedication,” Kaplan says. “We were able to accomplish that through our navigation and our visuals.”

The new website operates on a content management system, so news and information (employment opportunities, equipment for sale, etc) are easily updated. The site also features links to the leading industry sources, along with the K-Limited Facebook page.
