Atlantic Holdings Corp of Virginia, the parent company of tank truck carriers Atlantic Bulk Carrier and Atlantic Tank Lines, has hired Thomas W Mears and Angela W Peacock. Mears, who will serve as safety director for both of the trucking companies, is retired from the Virginia State Police, where he served for 25 years. Peacock will serve as assistant safety director. She has worked in the safety and operations departments for truckload and tanker operations in Virginia and North Carolina.
