Thomas Hoyer, advisory board chairman of the Hamburg logistics group Hoyer, has been appointed president of the German-Dutch chamber of commerce (DNHK) in The Hague. He takes over from Dick de Boer and will head the chamber for the usual two-year term. Tom Krützfeldt has been named operations manager for the Supply Chain Solutions (SCS) department of Hoyer's Chemilog business unit effective August 1, 2012. He will report direct to Ulrich Grätz, SCS director. Krützfeldt's previous position as operations manager for Hoyer's Hamburg and Schkopau locations is being taken by Matthias Krohn, who was previously fleet manager. Krohn's position will be filled by Thomas Steinlein, who had been manager of road continent operations and is also responsible for truck fleets in Austria and Poland.
