Ted Willke has been appointed associate administrator for hazardous materials safety in the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) of the United States Department of Transportation. For a number of months, he held this position in PHMSA on an acting basis. Previously, he served as acting associate administrator for pipeline safety and deputy associate administrator for pipeline safety.
